12.4 Throttle lever for the drive function
The throttle lever (fig. 1, pos. 2) controls the speed controller. Pulling the throttle lever toward the handle causes
the vehicle to drive forwards (speed depends on the lever position). Pushing the throttle lever away from the handle
causes the vehicle to move backwards.
The following transmitter controls affect the drive function and are described in the following sections:
"TH.RATE" knob (fig. 1, pos. 9): driving speed limitation, see section 12.8

"TH.REV" reverse switch (fig. 1, pos. 8): drive function reversal, see section 12.9

12.5 Adjusting the trimming for the steering function, "ST.TRIM" knob
If the vehicle tends to pull to the left or right while driving, even though the steering wheel is in the middle (neutral)
position, set the steering trim accordingly with the "ST.TRIM" knob on the transmitter (see fig. 1, pos. 11).
12.6 Setting the dual rate for the steering function, "ST.RATE" knob
The "ST.RATE" knob (fig. 1, no. 10) allows limiting the maximum steering angle, thus improving the vehicle steering
performance during fast driving, as it responds more sensitively.
For the maximum manoeuvrability of the vehicle (for slow to medium speeds or tight turns), you should turn the knob
clockwise all the way to the right.
12.7 Steering function reversal, "ST.REV" slide switch
Use the "ST" slide switch (fig. 1, pos. 12) to reverse the steering servo movement direction (e.g. when holding the
transmitter with your right hand and steering with your left hand).
12.8 Setting the dual rate for the drive function, "TH.RATE" knob
Use the "TH.RATE" knob (fig. 1, pos. 9) to set the maximum driving speed. A low maximum speed (turn the knob
counter-clockwise to the left) is ideal for beginners to familiarise themselves with the vehicle.
To be able to use the maximum driving speed, turn the knob clockwise all the way to the right.
12.9 Drive function reversal, "TH.REV" slide switch
Normally, pulling the throttle lever towards the handle on the transmitter causes the vehicle to move forward. Other-
wise, use the "TH.REV" slide switch (fig. 1, pos. 8) to reverse the movement direction of the drive.
Please note:
In case the motor has been disconnected from the speed controller (e.g. for vehicle repair) and the vehicle
then moves in the wrong direction, swap the two motor cables instead of operating the slide switch.
