Function
Connection data: 1 AC 230 V, 50/60 Hz. Brake control is realized via SINAMICS DCM
Cabinet.
From the 1-ph. 230 V AC control voltage generated in the cabinet, a feeder to supply a
magnetic holding brake is provided via a miniature circuit breaker. The feeder is controlled
via a binary output of the SINAMICS DCM DC Converter and a contactor; the binary output
must be "high" to provide power to the brake feeder (NC contact) and therefore to release
the brake. With this option, the technical data (holding current) of the motor holding brake
must be specified in plain text.
Motorized holding brakes, other control versions or different rated voltages must be specified
as a special option X30.

Parameter assignment
p50080 is used to set whether the brake is effective as holding brake (p50080 = 1) or
operational brake (p50080 = 2).
