L52, ARC detector (arcing detector)

Function
A device to monitor the cabinet system for arcing faults is installed. Here, light sensors inside
the cabinet monitor any arcing, and if arcing is detected, the system is shut down with an
Emergency Stop; the main contactor or supply circuit breaker is opened.
Two trips (no) of the arcing monitor ("Trip1/2") are available, isolated at the customer
terminal strip. Further, there is an isolated reset input on the terminal strip to connect an
external reset contact. The trip contacts are set in the basic parameterization of the arc
monitor to non-latching (DIP switch "latch" is off). This basic parameterization can be
changed when commissioning the system depending on the particular application.
Note
A 24 V DC power supply is required (option L06, L07 or L09).
