Requirements on the levelness of the floor

The foundation at the installation location of the SINAMICS DCM Cabinets must be level to
ensure proper functioning of the cabinets.
● Care must be taken to ensure that the doors can be opened and closed and that the
locking systems work properly.
● Flat sections (such as doors, side panels and hoods) must be sealed correctly to ensure
compliance with the specified degree of protection.
● When cabinets are connected (e.g., transport units), air inlets caused by gaps must be
prevented.
