Only TIM-EC modules from HBM may be operated on the
10+2 interface. Operating other modules, or modules
from other manufacturers is not permitted and may cause
the TIM-EC module to be destroyed.
Electrical connection
Make the electrical connection as described in section 7
"Elektrischer Anschluss", beginning on page 14. Make
certain that supply X2, TMC X4 and speed encoder X3 of
the torque transducer are only connected to the head sta­
tion (super-master module) in intercommunication mode.
Only one supply point is required in this case (head sta­
tion/ super-master) (see Fig. 10.19). In this case make
certain to provide an adequate power supply.
