RANSVERSE
TABILISERS
To reduce body roll (curl) of the vehicle when going through bends, the model
is equipped with a transverse stabiliser at the rear; the vehicle can be retrofit-
ted with a transverse stabiliser at the front.
A transverse stabiliser is made of a u-shaped curved spring steel wire, which is
at both ends connected with one of the lower transverse arms via ball-shaped
heads. For this reason, two steering points for the ball-shaped heads are pro-
vided (a). In the centre, the wire bracket is mounted to rotate on the differential
housing. The boreholes for the mounting are also provided (b). When one wheel
is deflected, the other wheel is then also deflected via the bracket. The trans-
verse stabiliser also supports the effect of the oil-dampened shock absorber
when the wheel is rebounding, since the restoring force of the wire bracket sup-
ports the rebounding of the shock absorber (against the friction in the piston).
In this way, the wheel remains in contact with the ground in every situation.

To adjust the progressivity of the steering angle or the Ackermann effect, the
steering links can be reset to other steering points both in the steering arms and
in the steering plate.

viscosities!

AINTENANCE
At certain intervals, maintenance work and function controls that ensure trouble-free operation and
roadworthiness for a long time, must be carried out.
Engine vibrations and shocks during drive operation can loosen parts and screw connections.
Therefore, check before each use:

The tight position of wheel nuts and of all screw fittings;
when replacing screws, secure the latter with screw-lock-laquer

the secure position of the servo control lever on the servo shaft
-
the position and the state of fuel hoses and air filter
-
the laying of cables
Also check the charging state of the rechargeable batteries of the transmitter and the receiver

LEANING

After driving, clean the entire vehicle of dust and dirt, use compressed air and / or a special spray detergent.
Pay particular attention to the bearings. Occasionally, remove the wheels and clean the ball bearing from dust
and deposits.
After cleaning, the movable parts must be re-lubricated.
After having lubricated the bearings remove any leaking oil and grease, since this is where dust can settle
particularly well.

Clean the cooling fins of the cooling head regularly with a toothbrush, in order to ensure an optimal heat
dissipation.

Arbre d'entraînement CVD
L'arbre qui engrène, sur un côté, dans le tenon du différentiel au moyen d'une broche en acier et qui est relié à l'essieu, sur
l'autre côté, via un joint de cardan sans jeu et ainsi sans usure.
L'entraînement de la roue est garanti de cette manière même en cas d'un fort braquage (arbre fortement plié).
Amortisseur acoustique à résonance
L'amortisseur acoustique sert d'un côté à l'insonorisation, d'un autre côté à l'exploitation optimale de la puissance du
moteur.
Amortisseurs hydrauliques
L'amortisseur se compose d'un ressort à compression, dans le centre duquel un piston peut monter et descendre dans
un cylindre rempli d'huile. Le ressort à compression s'appuie, sur un plateau à l'extrémité de la tige de piston et un
écrou moleté ou une entretoise, par l'extérieur sur le cylindre. La précontrainte du ressort peut être réglée en tournant
l'écrou moleté ou par des entretoises de différentes épaisseurs. Le ressort absorbe le braquage des demi-essieux
suite à des irrégularités du sol, la compression et le débattement est freiné au moyen du piston qui passe par l'huile.
Par la sélection de différentes huiles d'amortisseur, on peut varier les caractéristiques d'amortissement. L'amortisseur
est fixé entre le pont amortisseur supérieur et le bras transversal inférieur. La compression du ressort est limitée par
un joint plastique.
Antenne
Antenne émettrice: Transmet les signaux de l'émetteur radiocommande en tant que signaux radios.
Antenne réceptrice: Fil torsadé sur le récepteur dans le modèle, dont la longueur est exactement adaptée à la fréquence de
transmission de la radiocommande et qui permet la réception des signaux de commande de manière optimale.
Barre d'accouplement
Comprend dans la plupart des cas trois leviers reliés par tringlerie mobile. Les barres d'accouplement extérieures (à lon-
gueur réglable si la voie peut être réglée) relient les leviers sur porte-fusée de l'essieu de façon mobile à la partie centrale
de la barre d'accouplement, qui est pivotée via le levier du servo de direction de droite / de gauche.
