4.4 External trigger

The LLB measuring system includes the option of triggering measurements with an external switch or
push button on Digital Input 1 (DI 1). Using the Digital Input DI 1 disables the Digital Output DO 1.
Please refer to chapter 5.3.2.2 "Manual start configuration" on page 107.

4.5 SSI connection

The SSI interface is only implemented in LLB-500 and LLB-500F measuring systems.

Never connect the SSI master before the interface is configured as SSI interface.
Set the LLB measuring system in "Stand-alone mode" (5.3.2 on page 106) and connect it to a SSI
master as shown in Figure 6. The measured distances are immediately available at the SSI output.
See 10.3.6 "Interface configuration (RS-422 / SSI)" on page 142 for the detailed command description.
Never connect the SSI master before the LLB interface is configured as SSI interface.
