10.3.6 Interface configuration (RS-422 / SSI)

The SSI interface is implemented in the LLB-500 and LLB-500F measuring systems only and
deactivated by default. Since the SSI interface uses the same connection as the RS-422 interface only
one of these two interfaces can be used at the same time.
Use the stand-alone mode with auto start to automatically update the SSI output
value. (See 10.3.3 "Set auto start configuration (sNA)" on page 138)
For further informations about the SSI-Interface see chapter 6.2.8 "SSI connection" on page 118 and
8.8 "SSI interface" on page 128.

10.3.6.1 Change between RS-422 and SSI output (sNSSI)

The configuration of the SSI interface must be carry out over the RS-232 interface
and the SSI master must not be connected while the configuration.
Connect the device by RS-232 to do the configuration and use the following commands:
