10.4.4 User-configured tracking with buffering – Start (sNuf)
The continuous distance measuring (tracking) starts. The measurements are internally saved in the
device (memory for one measurement). The measured distance is corrected with the user offset and
user gain as set with the commands "Set/Get user distance offset (sNuof)" on page 152 and 10.5.3
"Set/Get user distance gain (sNuga)" on page 153. Define the rate of measurements with the
sampling time. If the sampling time is set to zero, the measurements are executed as fast as possible
(Speed dependent on target conditions). The last measurement can be read out from the device with
the command "Read out – User-configured tracking with buffering (sNuq)". The measurements are
continued until the "STOP/CLEAR command (sNc)" is issued.
This command takes the "Set/Get user distance offset (sNuof)" and "Set/Get user
distance gain (sNuga)" into account.

After starting the command "User-configured tracking with buffering – Start (
measurement can be read out from the LLB with the command "Read out – User-configured tracking
with buffering ( sNuq )".
This command takes the "Set/Get user distance offset (sNuof)" and "Set/Get user
distance gain (sNuga)" into account.
