8.8 SSI interface

The SSI interface is only implemented in the LLB-500 and LLB-500(F) measuring systems.
The SSI interface is a far common serial interface for industrial applications between a master
(control) and a slave (LLB measuring system). SSI is based on RS-422 standards.
