Breath Guard
Installing the breath guard changes the airflow from
the lower air intake. This directs air around your
mouth and also reduces fogging of the shield/visor
caused by breathing.
Follow the procedure below to install and remove the
breath guard.
Installing the Breath Guard
As shown in the drawing, insert the breath guard in
the space between the defogger ventilation system
and the impact absorbing liner.
Removing the Breath Guard
Pull the breath guard from the space between the
defogger ventilation system and the impact absorbing
liner. When you pull out the breath guard, the back
side of the window beading may come off. If this
happens, grab the window beading between the
thumb and the forefinger and return it to its location.
A,WARNING
Do not carry or hold the helmet by the breath guard.
The breath guard may come off, causing the helmet
to drop.

Cache-nez
L'installation du cache-nez modifie le flux d'air
provenant de l'entree d'air inferieure. L'air est dirige
auteur de votre bouche, ce qui reduit egalement
la formation de buee de l'ecran causee par la
respiration.
Suivez la procedure ci-dessous pour installer et
detacher le cache-nez.
Mise en place du protecteur de
respiration
lnserez le cache-nez dans l'espace situe entre le
systeme d'aeration antibuee et le calotin d'absorption,
comme indique sur le schema.
Retrait du protecteur de respiration
Retirez le cache-nez de l'espace situe entre le
systeme d'aeration antibuee et le calotin d'absorption
en tirant dessus. II se peut que le cote arriere du joint
de la visiere
se detache en meme temps, lorsque vous tirez le
cache-nez. Si c'est le cas, prenez-le entre le pouce
et l'index et remettez-le en place.

AVERTISSEMENT
Ne pas transporter ou tenir le casque par le cache­
nez. Celui-ci pourrait s'extraire, et le casque pourrait
chuter.

CNS-3C ShieldNisor

Before using the shield/visor for the first
time after purchase, remove the protective
film from the shield/visor.
If you pull the CNS-3C shield/visor completely down,
it will be locked.
It is recommended that the shield/visor remains in
this position during touring (Drawing 1).
By riding at a low speed with the shield/visor lock
released and the shield/visor slightly opened as
shown in Drawing 2, air inside the helmet can be
circulated.

A.WARNING
Riding at a high speed with the shield/visor slightly
opened as shown in Drawing 2 may cause the shield/
visor to open unexpectedly, which is extremely dan­
gerous. Do not use the slightly open position when
riding at high speeds.
Opening the CNS-3C ShieldNisor
Press the shield/visor lock button to release the lock
and open the shield/visor by holding the shield tab.

Avant la premiere utilisation du casque
apres achat, retirez le film de protection
exterieur de l'ecran.
Si vous rabattez completement l'ecran CNS-3C vers
le bas, ii se verrouille.
II est recommande de laisser l'ecran dans cette
position pendant la conduite (Schema 1 ).
En conduisant
a
basse vitesse avec le verrouillage
de l'ecran relache et l'ecran legerement ouvert
comme indique sur le Schema 2, l'air
a
l'interieur du
casque peut circuler.

AVERTISSEMENT
Conduire
a
grande vitesse avec l'ecran legerement
ouvert comme indique sur le Schema 2 peut entrai­
ner l'ouverture inattendue de l'ecran, ce qui est extre­
mement dangereux. Ne pas utiliser la position lege­
rement ouverte lors de la conduite
a
grande vitesse.
Ouverture de l'ecran CNS-3C
Appuyez sur le bouton de verrouillage de l'ecran
pour relacher le verrouillage et ouvrez l'ecran en
maintenant l'ergot lateral.
