Parameter set

To set up a standard parameter set, select a parameter set in the TIM-PN device configu­
ration in the TIA portal.
Write requests from the PROFINET controllers transfer the selected parameter set to the
device once the controller is connected to the device.
The configuration of the parameter sets (loading/saving parameters from/to a file) must
be carried out from the web interface.
The graphic below shows parameter set selection in the Siemens TIA portal:

Diagnosis status

The following steps load the created program to the controller and check the created
network for errors by means of the diagnosis status of the TIA portal:

Click Save project.
u
Right-click on the project tree and compile the project.
u
Then download the hardware and software to the controller.
