Configuring the TIM-PN module

All the torque-dependent process data are transferred in the Torque module. You need
the Speed module if you are using a torque transducer with a rotational speed module. All
the speed-dependent process data are transferred in this module. The graphic below
shows an overview of the two modules:
Take the following steps to create the required modules:

Open the Device overview of the TIM-PN.

In the Hardware catalog, open the Head modules and Module folders.
In the standard configuration, the Torque module is added in slot 1.
You need the Speed module if a speed sensor is present.

Use drag & drop to move the speed module to slot 2.
