Once intercommunication functionality has been parameterized, the modules must al
ways be restarted. The settings are then adopted the next time the modules are restar
ted.
After starting the modules, the connected interface modules first have to be initialized -
LED flashes red.
Super-master function
The Super-Master takes over data handling within the setup and makes the flow of meas
urement data available on the 10+2 bus. In addition to this, it is only the head-end para
meterized as the Super-Master that has full access to the connected torque transducer.
This means, for example, that only the Super-Master can trigger the shunt signal. All the
incoming data can be scaled and filtered separately and without reaction, for example,
within the setup (super-master/slave operation).
Slave function
It is as if the slave listens in to the flow of communication data between the torque
sensor and the Super-Master. It behaves passively and acts solely as a listener within the
