10.3.6 Intercommunication

The flow of measurement data of the T40 stator is made available to the 10+2 interface,
which makes it available to other torque interface modules. At the interface modules, the
incoming torque and rotational speed measurements can then be configured and para­
meterized individually and without reaction. This setup is useful, for example, if the meas­
ured values of a torque transducer should be available in independent networks, for the
control and automation level, for instance.

This extremely flexible concept also allows a torque transducer to be used in different
fieldbus networks, such as PROFINET and EtherCAT.
