This product must ONLY be installed by properly qualified and trained stairlift installation engineers, who have satisfactorily
completed a Handicare-approved training course on how to install and/or commission the Handicare 1100-stairlift. Grave
consequences regarding the safety of the stairlift in question and of its users may result from any violation of this requirement.
Intended Audience
This manual is intended for use by such qualified and trained stairlift installation engineers ONLY; it is NOT intended to show an unskilled
person how to install and/or commission the stairlift, nor does it allow an unskilled person to install and/or commission the stairlift in an
appropriate/safe manner.
This manual may NOT be used to replace the necessity for training.
The procedures described in this manual are 100% mandatory and MUST be followed.
Required Knowledge
All users of this manual MUST have the following knowledge:
Sufficient understanding of the key features, functions and capabilities of the Handicare 1100 stairlift;
Sufficient mechanical and electrical skills to be able to understand the function and purpose of each component of the stairlift, and suffi-
cient mechanical and electrical skills as required for the correct installation and commissioning of the stairlift;
Sufficient Health and Safety awareness.

It is the responsibility of the stairlift engineer to check that the manual is applicable to the type and version of the stairlift being installed; he/
she MUST not fit a stairlift by reference to the manual if it is not the correct manual.
The stairlift engineer must read the manual to understand all the information to enable safe installation and/or commissioning of the stairlift.
In the absence of any negligence or breach of duty on the part of Handicare Accessibility Limited, no liability or responsibility will be accepted
by it for any loss or damage arising from anyone's failure to follow and adhere to the guidance in the manual in connection with the installing
and/or commissioning of the stairlift.

mostrar a una persona no cualificada cómo se instala y/o se pone en funcionamiento el salvaescaleras, ni permite a una persona no cualifi-
cada instalar y/o poner en funcionamiento el salvaescaleras de forma adecuada/segura.
Este manual NO puede utilizarse en lugar de una formación necesaria.
Los procedimientos descritos en este manual son 100% obligatorios y DEBEN seguirse.
Conocimientos requeridos
Todos los usuarios de este manual DEBEN tener los siguientes conocimientos:
Suficiente comprensión de las características, funciones y capacidades principales del salvaescaleras Handiare 1100;
Suficientes habilidades mecánicas y eléctricas para comprender la función y el propósito de cada componente del salvaescaleras, y
suficientes habilidades mecánicas y eléctricas como sea necesario para la correcta instalación y puesta en funcionamiento del salvaescaleras;
Suficiente concienciación de la salud y la seguridad.
Responsabilidad/Descargo
Es responsabilidad del técnico del salvaescaleras comprobar que el manual es aplicable al tipo y a la versión del salvaescaleras que se va a
instalar; NO debe montar un salvaescaleras consultando el manual si no es el manual correcto.
El técnico del salvaescaleras debe leer el manual para comprender toda la información a fin de asegurar una instalación y/o puesta en
marcha seguras del salvaescaleras.
