b) Servo End Deflection Setting „EPA"
Using the servo end deflection setting you can precisely define the maximum size of servo travel that is permitted on
each side. The servo end deflection function is typically used to protect servos from mechanically hitting an obstacle
when deflecting to the full extent. You can set a value of 0% - 140% separately for each control function and each side.
The smaller the value, the shorter the servo travel.
To set the servo end deflection, proceed as follows:
• Call the function settings menu.
• Select the menu item „EPA ADJ" with the buttons „UP" or
„DOWN".
• Activate the menu item with the button „SELECT".
In the display you will see display items for the first four con-
trol functions with the respective currently set values for the
servo end deflection. The triangle pointing to the right shows
the value that can be set at the moment.
• Pushing the buttons „INC (+)" or „DEC (-)" sets the described
end deflection to the right for the roll servo. The setting is
saved automatically.
• Pushing the button „CLEAR" will call the set value specified
ex works again.
• Push the button „SELECT" so that the triangle pointing to the
right will jump by one position and you can set the end deflec-
tion described for the roll servo to the left.
• Repeat the above procedure until the servo end deflections
of all six control functions have been programmed.
• Push the buttons „UP" and „DOWN" at the same time to re-
turn to the overview of the function setting menu.
