S Connect your PC directly to the CMD (not via a net­
work, if possible).
S Change the PC's IP address so that it matches the
10.60.250.78 address range of the CMD, e.g. to
10.60.250.10. You can check the PC settings with the
"ipconfig.exe" program, for example (click on the Win­
dows Start button and enter ipconfig in the Browse
programs/files line).
Procedure for updating the firmware:
- Start the program for updating the firmware with
Administrator rights.
- Select your network adapter: Network interface.
- Select the directory with the firmware file and the
file itself: Load file.
- Switch off the CMD and apply a voltage of 12  30
V to the "SensorTeach" input (pin 2 on the SYS­
DC
TEM connector plug, color code brown on the sys­
tem cable).
- Click on Start.
- Switch the CMD back on.
When the device status LED starts to flash red, the
so‐called bootloader is activated. The bootloader then
waits 10 seconds for the firmware update to start. If
this does not occur within the next 10 seconds, the
device automatically cancels the process and returns
to measuring mode.
- Remove the voltage from the SensorTeach input.
The timing is not crucial, you can remove the volt­
age as soon as the status LED flashes.
