Important
Administrator rights are required both for installing the
program and for the updating itself.
Procedure for updating the firmware
- Start the program for updating the firmware
(CMD_Updater.exe) with Administrator rights.
- If applicable, select the language for the user inter­
face: Options -> Language.
- Specify the network adapter, via which the con­
nected devices should be found: Device -> Select
network adapter, if your PC has a number of
adapters.
- Click on Find, to find the connected CMD.
- Activate updating for the affected device(s) in the
lower part of the program window, in the Update
column.
If an update is not possible, this is indicated.
- Click on Update.
- In the dialog that is displayed, select the directory
with the firmware file (Change) and the file with the
firmware to be used.
The latest firmware version is always displayed and
marked as the first entry.
- Click on Update.
The program starts to transfer the data to the device.
Progress is shown in the program window: Progress,
displayed as a bar.
