14.2.1 CFT force transducer

The CFT force transducers are calibrated and are deliv­
ered with calibration certificates. As these force transduc­
ers are already pre‐stressed internally, they are suitable
for immediate application. It is not necessary to recali­
brate the measuring chain.

14.2.2 CFW force washer

Force washers must always be mounted under
pre‐stress. This also applies to the CFW piezoelectric
force washers. After mounting, the force washers are in a
force shunt, i.e. some of the force no longer flows
through the sensor, but through the pre‐stressing device,
such as the CPS pre‐stressing sets.
