the set output offset. The status LED on the CMD
flashes yellow, slowly (1 Hz).
- Load and relieve the sensor with the force that will
occur later during operation.
The CMD determines the maximum value.
- Complete the measurement by again applying a
voltage of 24 V to pin 2 of the SYSTEM socket for
approx. 1 second.
The controller in the amplifier selects the maximum
value:
a. If the determined maximum force is in the high meas­
uring range of the CMD, the amplification is set and
scaling is implemented.
b. Otherwise the low CMD measuring range is selected
and the signal output is reset (Reset).The status LED
again flashes yellow, but at a faster frequency (2 Hz).
In this case, relieve the sensor and then load it again.
- If the process does not have to be repeated, the
LED stops flashing and goes green.
Amplification is set so that with maximum loading, an
output signal of 10 V minus the set overload reserve
is output.
- Remove the checkmark in the Scaling ->
SensorTeach -> enable menu.
Important
With a lower loading in the particular measuring range,
steps a) or b) have to be repeated several times. The
CMD performs a maximum of five iterations, for the
best‐possible adjustment of the measuring range.
