7.8 Voltage supply, control inputs and
analog outputs
The 8‐pin M12 device plug (SYSTEM socket) connects
the supply voltage, analog output signal, SensorTeach,
RESET/MEASURE signal and TEDS with the following
processing devices (for pin assignment, see Section
8.2.2, page 45).

Only high‐insulation connection cables generating little
triboelectricity (such as 1-KAB143, see accessories) may
be used for piezoelectric sensors.
The CMD charge amplifier is designed for DC voltage
operation (18 ... 30 V). The circuit is intended for opera­
tion with separated extra‐low voltage (SELV circuit).
