6.2 ROLL R8 P-LOCK
6.2.1 Wheel attachment
1. ROLL R8 P-LOCK is to be switched on at the on/off
switch.
2. Press the left pedal.
« Tie rod moves to the right.
3. Remove dirt from wheel.
4. Position the appropriate cone and wheel on the
shaft (flange).
5. Slide the spacer plate onto the shaft and press
against the wheel.
6. Press the left pedal.

Tie rod moves to the left.
"
Spacer plate is pressed against the wheel.
"
Wheel is secured.
6.2.2 Wheel removal
1. Press the left pedal.
« Tie rod moves to the right.
« Wheel is released.
2. Detach the spacer plate from the shaft while
supporting the wheel with one hand.
3. Pull the wheel off the shaft.

6.2.3

Wheel removal in the event of faults

In the event of a problem with the pneumatics or loss
of voltage at the ROLL R8 P-LOCK, the tie rod can be
moved manually, after which the wheel can be removed.

Before do so, check the compressed air supply And
attempt to rectify the fault by switching the unit off
and on again.
1. Loosen the 4 screws and remove the cover panel
from the back of the ROLL R8 P-LOCK.
2. Reverse the metal plate on which the solenoid valve
is mounted.
3. Insert a screwdriver into the hole marked OPEN on
the solenoid valve and press.
« Tie rod moves to the right.
4. Detach the spacer plate from the shaft while
supporting the wheel with one hand.
5. Pull the wheel off the shaft.
