Fastening the adhesive balance
weights manually using the laser
beam

If non-standard programs are used, the adhesive
balance weights (without Easyfix®) can be attached
more easily using a laser beam.

Before continuing, check whether the function is
activated in the "Settings" menu.

The user must make a note of the distance from the
edge of the rim when specifying the position of the
weight. This dimension must also be observed when
attaching the weight.
1. The laser beam projects a line onto the rim at the
selected position (3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 12 o'clock);

2. Center the weight with respect to the laser beam
and affix it at the distance from the edge of the rim
determined previously.

Use the plastic spatula to remove the adhesive
balance weight.

With electronic rim-distance gauge
1. Place an adhesive balance weight having the
required value for balancing in the insert for
adhesive balance weights.
2. Take out the electronic rim-distance gauge in the
direction of the balancing position and wait for
confirmation via the audible signal.
« The electronic rim-distance gauge is locked at the
position.
« The weight symbol is now green instead of yel-
low.
3. Turn the electronic rim-distance gauge and attach
the balance weight by firmly pushing the ejector
against the rim to ensure effective adhesion.
