4.7 Connecting the sonar

The sonar connection is located on the back of the
ROLL R8 (P-LOCK) behind a cover.
1. Remove the cover on the back of the
ROLL R8 (P-LOCK).
2. Attach the sonar connection cable.

A grommet is fastened to the sonar connection
cable.
3. Insert the grommet into the opening in the cover.
4. Fasten the cover to the back of the
ROLL R8 (P-LOCK).

5. Use the cable ties provided to fasten the sonar
connection cable to the ROLL R8 (P-LOCK).

In order to prevent damage to the cable from the
motion of the sonar, the sonar connection cable
must not be fastened too tautly.
