The current settings for attachment of an adhesive
balance weight (see section "Attaching adhesive
balance weights") only apply to PAX2 and ALU2 (inner
and outer) and also ALU3 (outer); otherwise, the
adhesive and clip-on balance weights are always to
be attached in the 12 o'clock position.

The audible signal has been activated in the
description that follows.
The following handling steps must be performed in
order to fully balance a wheel:
1. Switch on ROLL R8 (P-LOCK).
2. Select type of vehicle.
3. Select balancing program (not with automatic
selection).
4. Determine rim data.
5. Measure imbalance.
6. Minimize imbalance (optional).
7. Apply SPLIT program (optional).
8. Attach balance weights.
9. Perform reference measurement.

The following tests must be checked before every
balancing operation:

Check the currently selected type of vehicle
(passenger car or motorcycle) in the status bar,
alter if necessary and confirm by pressing <OK> .

Check the currently selected balancing program in
the status bar, alter if necessary and confirm by
pressing <OK> .

When acquiring/entering the rim data, the handle
of the electronic rim-distance gauge must be held
correctly to avoid errors when balancing, and must
always be put in the rest position manually.

Danger of crushing of limbs for persons in
the restricted area when wheel is turning.

When the wheel is turning, the operator
must stay in the work area.

There must be no one in the restricted
area when the wheel is turning.
