8.2.3 User-defined settings
Activates or deactivates the screensaver
Activates or deactivates audible acknowledgement signal
Language selection.
Activates or deactivates automatic start (start of
measurement by closing wheel guard)
Press <OK> to return to the previous page.
Opens the "Quick-access key assignment" menu
Opens the menu for entering the workshop data.
8.2.4 Using your own screensaver
1. Copy the desired image on a USB stick in the main
directory:
$
Image format: Bitmap
$
Image size: 320 x 240 mm;
$
File name: SCR_SET.bmp
2. Insert the USB stick into the USB port.

3. Activate the screensaver in the "Screensaver" menu
and confirm by pressing <OK>.

4. Loading of the image is displayed on the screen.
5. Confirm by pressing <OK>.

The screensaver starts automatically after 10
minutes if the ROLL R8 (P-LOCK) is not used. Not
used means:
$
moving the rim-distance gauge,
$
rotating the wheel,
$
moving the wheel-guard hood.

The screensaver is deactivated when
$
any key is pressed,
$
the wheel is rotated.
8.2.5 Setting of resolutions and units
Selection of weight display
grams (g) or ounces (oz)
Selection of weight resolution 1 g / 0.05 oz or 5 g / 0.25
oz
Remaining value suppression:
Entry of weight value below which the value "0" is to be
displayed.
