12. Maintenance

12.1

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the
ROLL R8 (P-LOCK) and disconnect mains plug.
!
Do not use any solvent-based cleaning agents. Use
alcohol or similar cleaning agents to clean plastic
parts.
12.2

Maintenance intervals

The following work must be carried out at the
specified intervals to ensure proper operation and high
performance of the ROLL R8 (P-LOCK):
Maintenance
Clean moving mechanical parts, treat with spray
oil or kerosene and lubricate with engine oil or a
suitable grease.

Remove condensate.

Check the oil level in the oil mist lubricator.
Calibrate the flange
Calibrate the rim-distance gauge
Calibrate the sonar
Calibrate ROLL R8 (P-LOCK)
Perform reference measurement
Replace the oil in the oil mist lubricator
