12.5.2 Calibrating the flange

Follow the instructions shown on the monitor.
1. Mount the flange.
i
Do not attach the wheel, do not use any clamping
device.
2. Open the calibration menu.
3. Select Calibrate flange and confirm by pressing
<OK>.
« Calibration is started.
4. Close the wheel-guard hood.
« Measurement commences.
"
Flange calibration completed.
"
The imbalance has been set to a value of "0".

Calibrating the rim-distance gauge

and sonar

Follow the instructions on the monitor.
1. Open the calibration menu.
2. Select Calibrate the electronic rim-distance gauge
and sonar and confirm by pressing <OK> .
« The calibration is started.

When calibrating the rim data, the handle of the
electronic rim-distance gauge must be held correctly
to avoid errors when balancing.

3. Set the electronic rim-distance gauge B at 0 mm to
read the distance.

4. Set the exact value that has been read off and
confirm by pressing <OK>.
5. Position the electronic rim-distance gauge B so it is
in contact with the inner face of the flange.
6. Measure the distance, set the exact value that has
been read off and confirm by pressing <OK>.

7. Move the electronic rim-distance gauge to the rest
position.

The "rest position" refers to the position in which
the electronic rim-distance gauge makes full contact
with the housing.
