6. Wheel attachment and
removal
WARNING – Wheel may slip!
Risk of crushing of fingers and other body
parts when attaching and removing wheel.

Wear protective gloves.
€
Wear safety shoes
€
Do not reach between the wheel and shaft.
€
Heavy wheels should always be handled by
two people.
6.1 ROLL R8
6.1.1 Wheel attachment
1. ROLL R8 is to be switched on at the on/off switch.
2. Position the appropriate cone on the shaft (flange).

3. Remove dirt from wheel.
4. Place wheel on shaft directly on the cone.
5. Slide the (disengaged) quick-action clamping nut
onto the shaft and press firmly against the wheel.

6. Engage and turn the quick-locking nut in the
clockwise direction until the wheel is firmly
clamped.

Wheel is secured.

For high-quality balancing, it is essential to tighten
the quick-locking nut securely.
6.1.2

Wheel removal

1. Turn the quick-locking nut counterclockwise and
release the wheel.
2. Disengage and remove the quick-locking nut.
3. Wheel removal.
