5.2 ROLL R8 P-LOCK
5.2.1 Removing the flange

The ROLL R8 P-LOCK must be switched on.
1. Use a 13 mm wrench to loosen both bolts on the
coupling ring.
2. Turn the locking ring.
« Both bolts are located on the left in the holes.
3. Press the left pedal.
« The piston (flange) is extended.
4. Unfasten the flange by tapping with a rubber-headed
hammer on the cone end.
5. Pull the flange off the cone until the two bolts are
outside the coupling ring.

6. Unscrew the flange from the shaft (stud) .

5.2.2 Fitting the flange
1. ROLL R8 P-LOCK is to be switched on at the on/off
switch.
2. Press the left pedal.
« The shaft (stud) is extended.
3. Slide the flange onto the shaft.
4. Screw the shaft fully into the flange.
Only tighten slightly!
5. Slide the flange over the cone towards the coupling
ring until the two bolts enter the left side of the
holes.

6. Press the left pedal.
« The shaft (stud) is retracted.
« The bolt heads are behind the coupling ring.
7. Turn the coupling ring.
« Both bolts are located on the right in the holes.
8. Use a 13 mm wrench to tighten both bolts.

Flange is fitted.
