8.6 REDUNDANCY

GB
Training is not an emergency situation!
As a rule, a second safety device (redundancy) must always be used in all training. The possibility
of unforeseeable events, technical failure and human error can never be totally excluded! A se-
cond MILAN and MILAN 2.0 device, for instance, can be used as redundancy.

8.7 RESCUE APPLICATION

After each rescue application, the device must be checked by a repair shop, which is authorized
by the manufacturer, to assure the full reliability fo the next application. We recommend to use
different devices for training and rescuing.

8.8 OVERLOAD

Devices which have been subjected to the force of arresting a fall or a overload have to be re-
moved from field.

8.9 TEMPERATURE

The device can be used in temperatures between – 35° C up to + 60° C. The impact wrench
can tolerate temperatures of between 0° C and +40° C. At higher or lower temperatures the
performance may reduce or the device may overheat. The manufacturer's instructions provided
must be observed.
