INSTALLING THE SUPPORT SURFACE

WARNING
• Do not plug into the power source until assembly
is complete .
• Explosion risk . Do not use in the presence of
flammable mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous
oxide .
1 . Place support surface over bed litter with printed
logo at foot end of bed .
2 . Fold back foot end section of support surface .
3 . Place foot box on foot end of bed litter .
CAUTION
• The XPRT™ therapeutic support surface should not
be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment
to avoid malfunction (excluding on a bed) . If
adjacent or stacked use is necessary, the XPRT™
therapeutic support surface should be observed to
verify normal operation in the configuration in which
it will be used .
• Avoid contact of sharp objects with the support
surface . Punctures, cuts and tears in the cover
could result in contamination of the cushions,
prevent proper air pressure control and compromise
therapy and safety .
4 . Connect the two (2) color coded connectors on
the foot box to the corresponding color coded
connectors on the support surface . Connect
black connection on foot box to cable adapter
2950-001-180 and then connect the other end of
the black connector to the bed (left side of litter at
foot end behind the accessory outlet) .
5 . Turn the locking collars clockwise to secure the
connections .
6 . Connect the air line from the support surface
to the corresponding fitting on the foot box .
7 . Fasten the two (2) retaining clips to the 2 "D"
Rings on foot box .
