During setup, unpack the cartons and check all items for proper operation. Make sure that the product operates before

you place it into service.
Remove all shipping and packaging materials from the product before use.
The vehicle patient compartment where the product will be used must have a:
• Smooth rear edge for product loading
• Level floor large enough for the folded product
• Stryker cot fastener system
• Space to properly install the safety hook
Note: Loose items or debris on the patient compartment floor can interfere with the operation of the safety hook and
product fastener. Keep the patient compartment floor clear.
When necessary, modify the vehicle to fit the cot. Do not modify the cot.
