POWERING UP THE SUPPORT SURFACE

Ensure the power cord for the support surface is plugged
into the FL27 InTouch foot end outlet .
WARNING
The support surface is equipped with a hospital grade plug
for protection against shock hazard . It must be plugged
directly into the FL27 InTouch three-prong receptacle .
Grounding reliability can be achieved only when a hospital
grade receptacle is used .
Select the SUPPORT SURFACES button on the FL27
InTouch control panel .
1 . Select whether to reset tracking of the current
therapy history .
a) To reset the current therapy history
select the "Ok" button .
b) To continue to store the current therapy history
in memory, select the "Cancel" button .
2 . Confirm whether to delete history or continue to
store in memory .
a) To reset the current therapy history, select the
"Ok" button .
b) To continue to store the current therapy history
in memory, select the "Cancel" button .

CONTROLLER BACKLIGHTING

The controller display backlighting will come on during
initial power up . After a period of non-use, the backlighting
goes into standby mode . When the display is in standby,
the support surface continues to function normally . A single
touch anywhere on the screen will turn the backlighting on .
The Status screen indicates which therapies (if any) are
currently active and the amount of therapy time remaining .
Each therapy has a status indicator showing ON, OFF or
PAUSED .

SIDERAIL POSITION

The position of the siderails determines the functionality
of the XPRT™ . All the therapies including Max Inflate,
Firmness and Turn Assist, will function if the siderails are
unlocked, except for the rotation therapy. If a siderail
is unlocked during the rotation therapy, this therapy will
automatically stop . If two therapies are simultaneously
executed and a siderail is unlocked during these therapies,
they will automatically stop .
