1.2
General dangers of failing to follow
the safety instructions
The TIM-PN module is a state-of-the-art unit and as such
is safe and reliable to operate. The module may give rise
to dangers if it is inappropriately installed and operated
by untrained personnel. Any person instructed to carry
out installation, commissioning, maintenance or repair of
the modules must have read and understood the mount
ing instructions and in particular the technical safety
instructions.
1.3
Conditions at the site of installation
Protect the device from direct contact with water (device
degree of protection IP20).
1.4
Maintenance and cleaning
The TIM-PN module is maintenance-free. Please note
the following points when cleaning the housing:
S Before cleaning, disconnect the device from the power
supply.
S Clean the housing with a soft, slightly damp (not wet!)
cloth. Never use solvents as they could damage the
labeling on the front panel.
