12.4 Networking

To begin with, use drag & drop to create a connection to
the controller and the device. This assigns the device to
the controller. A PROFINET I/O system was created
automatically in the networking process and its properties
are displayed in the Network view.
► In the Topology view, create a connection between
the PROFINET nodes.
► Double-click Devices & Networks.
► Change to the Topology view.
► Use drag & drop to connect the ports in accordance
with the physical connection.
