Supporting points approximation when using the
frequency signal (torque)
After switching the input mode from TMC to Frequency,
the physical units in the table automatically change to
setpoint value [Nm] and actual value [Hz]. Proceed as
before in example 1 "Input of interpolation points" and
example 2 "Input of interpolation gradient".
Information
Input of the interpolation gradient in Frequency mode:
When transferring the calculated interpolation factor from
the calibration certificate, select the factor with the unit
[Nm/Hz] and enter it in the interpolation gradient field. As
the TIM-PN processes digital measured values, the gradi­
ent factor is accordingly converted into [Nm/Nm] without
a dimension and shown in the correction factor field. The
value of the correction factor field is then used to correct
the measured value.
Information
If both Supporting points approximations are active, the
TIM-PN only applies the corresponding diagnosis error
flag Measured value overflow or underflow ±120% to the
nominal (rated) torque (see section 10.3.4
"Fieldbus interface", page 47). So in the above example,
this is the measuring range 1:1.
