g) Checking the swash plate position

• First put the trim slider for the roll function (see ill. 1,
pos. 5) and the trim slider for the nod function (see ill. 1,
pos. 6) into the central position.
• Afterwards check the setting of the swash plate (1).
It may neither be inclined to the side nor to the right or
the left. The swash plate must be at an absolutely exact
90° angle to the main rotor shaft.
• If necessary, you can adjust a slight slant by changing
the two control links (2).
For this purpose, take the top eyelet of the links (3) off
the swash plate and change the length of the link to the
required size by twisting the eyelet.
Then reattach the eyelet and check whether the correction was sufficient.
Attention important!
Before starting to fly your model helicopter, you should take note of the following information first.

h) Basic information relevant to the control of model helicopters

Before operating your model, you should know the available control possibilities first in order to be able to safely
control the model. The double rotor model helicopter is controlled via the two control sticks at the remote control
transmitter. The following functions are available:
Pitch Function
With the Pitch function you can control the flying height of the helicopter (see figure 11, Pos.A). The control is effected
with the left control stick (see figure 1, Pos. 10).
To that effect, the control stick can be moved forward and backward. Unlike with other control functions, .the stick does
not keep springing back to the centre position.
As the angles of attack of the rotor blades are not modifiable, setting the flying height is effected via a common speed
modification of the two rotors.
• Pulling the control stick towards you switches off the motors and the rotors stop.
• If you push the control stick forward, the rotors run and increase the speed according to the position of the stick.
• When the control stick reaches the centre position, the helicopter should hover.
