b) Checking the Rotor Blade Retainer

To allow the 4 rotor blades (1) to orientate themselves at a
180° angle to each other during operation, the screws of
the 4 blade retainers (2) must not be too firmly tightened.
If you pitch the model helicopter by 90° to the side, the rotor
blades must be able to let slightly downward as illustrated
in the figure.
c) Connecting the Flight Battery
Push the charged flight battery (1) according to the figure,
from the back up to the stop (2) into the battery shaft (3).
The connection cables must point backwards in flight direc-
tion.
Slide the left control stick for the pitch and tail function (see
figure 1, item 12) and the trim slider for the pitch function
(see figure 1, item 7) to the bottom position (motor off posi-
tion).
Switch on the transmitter.
Connect the flight battery with the help of the BEC connec-
tor, which is protected against wrong polarity, to the receiver/
controller component of the helicopter right after this.
The triple-pole battery charge cable is not connected with the model.
