m) Changing the steering directions
Your remote control is tuned ex works exactly to your double rotor electric powered helicopter. However, if during
trimming, you notice that your model helicopter, with individual steering functions, responds contrary to the pattern
illustrated in figure 11, then you can switch over at the transmitter, for each individual steering function, the direction of
the response of the model.
For that purpose, there is 8 DIP switches (1) on the rear side of the transmitter. The switches 1-4 are assigned the
following functions:
DIP switch Function
1 Tail Function
2 Roll Function
3 Nod function
4 Pitch Function
The switches 5 to 8 have no function.
Proceed as follows to switch a steering function:
First, disconnect the flight battery from the helicopter. Then turn the transmitter off and slide the required DIP switch to
the other switch position.
Now you can switch on the transmitter again, connect the flight battery and check the correct function direction at the
helicopter.
