Operation of the Helicopter

a) Charging the Flight Battery
The battery chute (1) for the flight battery (2) is located on
the back of the transmitter.
Remove the battery chute cover by pushing it out upwards.
Slide the flight battery into the charging chute and observe
that the two guide rails of the flight battery are directed up-
ward.
When the flight battery is inserted in the transmitter's bat-
tery chute, switch on the transmitter with the function switch
(see figure 1, item 5).
The status LED (1) lights up green. This means that the
battery is being charged.
After the charging procedure, the LED goes out.
Then disconnect the flight battery from the transmitter im-
mediately and switch off the transmitter again.

b) Checking the Drive Mechanics

Before commissioning your model helicopter, you need to
check the drive mechanics.
Only if the mechanics work securely, without play and abso-
lutely smoothly can be model fly with the lowest possible
energy expenditure. For this reason, you should check the
model function before each flight.
For this, carefully turn the two main rotors back and forth
and check the interaction of the two main gears (1) and the
motor pinions (2). The gears must securely fit into each other
without catching or showing too much friction. The two mo-
tor shafts with the drive pinions must be aligned perfectly
straight and must not be eccentric-
