Reading trouble codes
1. Switch on the ignition (position 2).
2. Connect the OBD 150 to the vehicle.
 Data are read.
3. In the diagnostic menu select "Read Codes"
and confirm with E.

Alternatively, press and hold
2 seconds.
i
If the vehicle does not have any DTCs, "No
Codes" will be displayed.
 One or more trouble codes is/are displayed.

Mod $## Indicates the module (electronic control
unit) which transmitted the trouble code.
## stands for consecutive numbering of
electronic control units.

Indicates the sequence of the trouble code
and the number (trouble code x of n). Ex-
ample: The display 2/9 means the 2nd of
9 trouble codes reported by the electronic
control unit.

Display trouble codes with

If a manufacturer-specific trouble code is called
up by the vehicle in the "Read Codes" function,
the "Vehicle selection" screen is displayed.
4. Start vehicle selection with E.
5. Select vehicle (make, model, engine..) .

A text giving an expanded description of the
menu items appears on the bottom line of
the screen. For example the explanation "US
vehicles operating in Europe" is displayed for
the menu item "European - US". This selection
should be made for instance if the OBD 150
is connected to a Cadillac CTS and is being
used in Europe. Heed this information and
make the appropriate selection.

If the wrong selection is made, the data and
information displayed will not be correct.

The OBD 150 stores the last vehicle selected.
The previous vehicle is the last menu item in
the "Vehicle selection" menu.

The vehicle selection is only displayed once
on switching on the OBD 150. In the event of
a vehicle selection error, the OBD 150 must
be unplugged and re-started.
