For feeding without the magic food, simply leave out the chip.
Add the water and feed as described above.
2. I can drink. (Fig. 2)
Fill the bottle that comes with BABY born Doll with clean, fresh tap water and screw the drinking
attachment firmly onto the bottle.
Hold BABY born Doll at an angle, so that the bottle tip is facing down and can be pushed straight
into the doll's mouth.
Insert the tip of the bottle until resistance can be felt.
You can now feed water to the doll by gently and repeatedly squeezing the bottle – approximately
one third of the content.
If water runs out of BABY born Doll's mouth during feeding, reposition the tip of the bottle so that
it is straight in her/his mouth again and squeeze the sides of the bottle more gently.
Warning: Use water only. Other liquids can block the tubes and tanks inside the doll.
3. You can see my poo in the potty (Fig. 3)
Images of poo and wee appear in the potty upon contact with water.
If BABY born Doll was fed with the bottle or using the spoon, the corresponding tank is filled. Place
BABY born Doll on the potty naked. Wrap both hands around the doll's tummy and firmly press and
hold the tummy button. The water then runs into the potty. BABY born Doll does a wee or a poo.
4. I can soil my nappy. (Fig. 4)
BABY born Doll must be fed with water; see no. 2 "I can drink".
Dress BABY born Doll in a clean BABY born nappy. When you press the tummy button, the doll
does a wee in her/his nappy. The nappy becomes wet.
Now you can change BABY born Doll's nappy.
Important! After the doll has been fed and has used the potty, always clean the tube system inside
the doll immediately. See no. 11 "Cleaning information".
5. I can cry. (Fig. 5)
BABY born Doll can cry real tears.
To do so, BABY born Doll must be fed with water; see no. 2 "I can drink". Then hold BABY born Doll
under the arms with both hands and press the top of the chest in the middle several times using
your fingers or both thumbs.
The tears start to flow. If no tears flow, feed BABY born Doll with more clear water and press the
middle of the chest again.
6. I can take a bath. (Fig. 6)
When bathing BABY born Doll at home, please only use the BABY born bathtubs or use a suitable
container for dolls to bathe BABY born Doll.
When bathing, use cold or tepid water and choose commercially available bath additives suitable
for children.
If BABY born Doll is taken to a swimming pool or the beach, do not play with the doll in the
chlorinated water or salt water for longer than 1 hour, as chemical reactions or bleaching of the
doll may occur.
The 1-hour limit also applies to the bathwater in the BABY born bathtub or the container suitable
for dolls. BABY born Doll should not be submerged completely under water.
1. It is essential that you rinse and clean BABY born Doll with clean water after bathing.
If water has entered the doll, please remove the water before playing with and using the
functions of BABY born. Please observe the information on cleaning and drying, as well as the
new function under no. 7 "I dry faster".
