2. When the doll is played with in the BABY born bathtub or another suitable container, water
can enter the tubes and tanks. It is therefore vital to clean the tube system inside BABY born
immediately after bathing. Please read the information on cleaning for further details (see no.11
"Cleaning information" and no. 7 "I dry faster").
3. Note! Avoid bathing BABY born Doll together with your child in the bath. Incomplete cleaning
and/or drying after a previous bath could result in unhealthy germs and bacteria forming inside
the doll.
4. BABY born Doll is not suitable for use as a floatation device.
5. Do not use cosmetics or skin care products on BABY born Doll.
6. Do not leave the doll in direct sunlight for extended periods of time (max. 1 hour).
7. I dry faster. (Fig. 7)
--> Drying information: removable leg
The removable leg allows BABY born Doll to be emptied faster after bathing so that the interior
dries more quickly. The leg must only be removed and reinstalled by an adult. To do so, press the
two buttons under the body shell. One button is on the bottom left of the doll's front, next to the
tummy button, while the second button is on the back just above the left buttock (Fig. 13). Both
buttons can be felt and must be pressed simultaneously to release the lock. The left leg can now be
removed from the body by pulling it gently.
Warning! Any water in the doll escapes through the leg opening immediately. Only remove the leg
over a bathtub or another container and a suitable surface! Once BABY born Doll has been dried
and aired sufficiently in a warm place (see drying information), the leg can simply be pressed into
the body again. An audible click shows when it is securely engaged. Push the leg into the body
opening in the standing position and rotate it forwards. (When the leg is rotated backwards, a
stopper prevents it from engaging!).
8. I am even more flexible. (Fig. 8)
BABY born Doll has a moveable head, arms and legs. The shoulder joints can be rotated 360° to
make it easier to dress her/him.
9. I close my eyes when I lie down. (Fig. 9)
BABY born Doll has sleeping eyes. As soon as BABY born Doll is laid down, her/his eyes close. BABY
born Doll is sleeping.
10. I open and close my eyes when my dummy is turned.
BABY born Doll has sleeping eyes (see no. 9). BABY born's eyes open or close as soon as the magic
dummy is slipped into her/his mouth and turned. The eyes can be opened or closed using the
dummy, regardless of what position BABY born is in.

10.1 - If the "open eyes" picture is facing upwards, the eyes will open.
10.2 - If the "closed eyes" picture is facing upwards, the eyes will close.
