INSTALLATION
Installation must be carried out by skilled technicians qualified for this task, in
compliance with the regulations in force in the country where the appliance
is to be used. As a result of improper installation, people or animals may be
harmed and property damaged, and the manufacturer shall not be held liable
for this.
Please observe the following instructions carefully before using the
appliance:
Check that the voltage and frequency of the mains supply correspond to those

indicated on the label attached to each appliance.

Check the electrical capacity of the power distribution system for proper
dimensioning with respect to the maximum output and/or power absorbed by
the appliance.
Earthing connection is mandatory. Therefore, check the earthing system for
compliance with current safety standards.
Place the appliance on a solid, level surface where it cannot be tipped over.
Choose a dry, sheltered location away from splashes and jets of water, sources
of heat, open flames and flammable substances.
Do not install the unit outdoors.
Place the saucer in its holder to keep the working area as clean as possible.
Before connecting the plug to the socket make sure that the On-Off button is

Connect the power cable to a socket protected by a circuit breaker or fuse.
Avoid using adapters and multiple plugs.
Take care that the appliance does not crush the power cable. Stretch the cable
along its entire length. Do not run it over sharp edges or hot surfaces. Avoid
contact with oil. Do not allow it to hang freely from the appliance's support
surface.
Make sure that the coffee bean container (hopper) is correctly positioned and
has the shutter fully open up to the end of its stroke.
