Set up and Use

NSTALLATION
1. Install the proning adapter bracket onto the bed (see the
bed manufacture's instructions for use). Put the ICU prone
head positioner on the bracket and slide it into position.
2. Firmly push down on the slide clamp latches to lock the ICU
prone head positioner into position. Pull outward on the
slide clamp latches to make sure the clamps are locked.
3. Put the face cushion on the head support.
4. Make sure the lateral slide is locked.
5. Adjust the height of the head support to be level with the
top of the mattress.
6. Lock the ball joint securely in place by turning it clockwise
and then remove the handle.

ATIENT OSITIONING
NOTE:
A new face cushion must be used with each patient.
1. Before the transfer, put the face cushion on the head support.
2. Follow the clinical facility protocol and prone the patient.
