Help in the event of faults

8.1

Safety instructions

Risk of fatal injury due to residual voltages
When the central inverter is shut down using the On/Off switch, voltage is
still present at the AC and DC connections and in the internal control
system. After shutting down the system using the On/Off switch, the
capacitors of the central inverter may still carry a residual charge. Residual
voltages inside the device can result in fatal surges.
 Open all external disconnectors and secure them against being switched
back on
After de-energising the device, always wait for an additional 15 minutes

before touching any components
 Check that the device is de-energised using a measuring instrument, in
accordance with applicable guidelines. The measuring instrument used
must be approved for at least protection class CAT II 1000 V or CAT III
600 V (in accordance with IEC EN 61010-1).
8.2

LED indicator signals

The central inverters function fully automatically. If a fault occurs with the
central inverter, the most recent fault message is displayed via the display
and the LED indicators.
The Fault LED indicator may light up or flash quickly or slowly.
Fault LED indicator lights up

The central inverter detects a fault that is potentially irreversible and
switches off.
Fault LED indicator flashing quickly.

LED indicator lights up regularly
The central inverter detects a reversible, temporary fault and switches off
temporarily. It normally switches back on automatically once the fault has
been cleared.
Fault LED indicator flashes quickly slowly

LED indicator lights up briefly every two seconds
Example: The central inverter detects a reduction in output as a result of
the temperature being too high.
