The manufacturer continuously improves the software of the display. You
can perform a firmware update via the USB interface. You can find the latest
firmware version in the download area of the manufacturer's home page. If
you have any questions, contact the manufacturer (contact details on the
back of the manual).

Please note the following here:
Only use the USB interface when the central inverter is not in operation.

 During the software update, the central inverter must be disconnected on
the DC side and AC side. The auxiliary power supply must be switched on.
During the update process do not switch off the auxiliary power supply of
the central inverter.
 A reboot after a firmware update can take up to 15 minutes.

Ethernet

The Ethernet interface is on the inside of the cabinet door.
The Ethernet interface allows the device's web server to be accessed
directly from a PC.
The shield of the Ethernet interface is earthed capacitively in the central
inverter. This prevents equalising currents from damaging connected cables
and components.
Please note the following here:
 Do not undertake any further earthing
External influences (e.g. voltage surges, lightning strikes), may increase

the voltage at the Ethernet interface. It is therefore important to protect
your network accordingly. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for
consequential damage.
Requirements for the Ethernet cable:
 Category 5 network cable or better
 Maximum length: 100 m

Grid monitoring

3.6.1

Grid standard and parameters

During commissioning, set the applicable grid standard (grid connection
directive) of the photovoltaic system in the central inverter's display. The
manufacturer has defined country-specific parameter sets in line with the
grid connection directive. You can adapt the grid characteristics according
to your project in the Parameters submenu.
Please note the following here:
Changes to the grid characteristics are only permitted in consultation with

the relevant energy supply company (ESC).
If you want to change the parameters after commissioning, please contact
the manufacturer. The manufacturer will provide you with a password that
is specific to the device and the date.
