Notes on transport

Risk of injury due to incorrect fastening
Personal injuries may be caused if the central inverters are incorrectly
fastened. The central inverters have a high, eccentric centre of gravity.
This means that the load may tip over when lifted and during transport.
Only attach the central inverter to the transport rails.

Check the centre of gravity of the device. Pay attention to the marking on

the packaging.
 Use steel cables > 1500 mm
 For the hanger assembly, only use standardised steel cables which have
been approved for transporting the tension load specific to the device
Only raise the device using undamaged and securely seated transport


Material damage due to incorrect transportation
Material damage may be caused if the central inverters are improperly
transported.
 Transport the device in an upright position only
 Only transport the device using undamaged and securely seated
transport rails
Transport the device in a fully assembled state

Ensure that the transportation method produces low levels of vibration

and impacts
 If an industrial truck is used, only raise the central inverter from the rear
 Remove the base panels when using an industrial truck
Material damage due to condensation
If the device is moved from a cold environment to the installation location,
condensation may form, causing damage to the electronics.
 Only transport the device at T = –20 °C to +50 °C and a maximum relative
humidity of 95% (non-condensing)
Before commissioning, the device must be absolutely dry.

Before commissioning, the device must be completely de-energised for

at least 24 hours.
